Not every business should raise equity, and not every loan fits a growing company. Expertvuw’s team helps founders and business owners compare funding routes, get documents investor- or lender-ready, and complete the legal and compliance steps when the money comes in.
Businesses in India raise capital through several routes. Debt — bank and NBFC loans, working capital limits, and government-backed schemes such as CGTMSE — keeps ownership intact but needs cash flow and security. Equity — from angel investors, venture capital funds, AIFs or strategic investors — brings capital without fixed repayment but dilutes ownership and adds investor rights. Hybrid instruments such as compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS), convertible notes for DPIIT-recognised startups (₹25 lakh or more in a single tranche) and venture debt sit in between.
Each route has legal requirements. Private placements by companies follow section 42 of the Companies Act, 2013, preferential allotments need a valuation, and funding from non-residents must meet FEMA pricing and reporting rules. Lenders and investors both expect clean statutory records, audited financials and clear ownership of IP.
Expertvuw helps you prepare and comply; it does not guarantee funding or solicit investment from the public.
