Home / Value Added Advisory / Compliance Health Check

Last updated: 2 October 2026
A one-time review of where your company or LLP stands: which ROC filings are pending, whether registers and minutes are in order, whether directors’ KYC is current, and what other registrations and returns apply. You get a written gap report with priorities and the steps to fix each item.
Many companies do not know what they have missed until something goes wrong: a bank asks for filed financial statements, an investor asks for board minutes, a director finds their DIN deactivated, or the company receives a notice from the Registrar.
The consequences of long-term non-compliance can be serious. Under section 164(2) of the Companies Act, 2013, directors of a company that has not filed financial statements or annual returns for three continuous financial years can be disqualified. A company that has not carried on business for two years and has not applied for dormant status can face strike-off under section 248.
A health check finds these issues early. It reviews filings on the MCA portal, statutory records and other registrations, and ranks the gaps so the most serious are addressed first. Tax and audit matters that need a Chartered Accountant are flagged for review by an independent CA.
Based on the Companies Act, 2013, the LLP Act, 2008 and the rules made under them. Last updated: 27 September 2026.

A list of gaps is only useful if it tells you what to do first and what it will take.
Filed forms are pulled from the MCA portal, not taken from memory.
Items that risk disqualification, strike-off or penalties are listed first.
Each gap comes with the form, fee and documents needed to close it.
