ISO 45001 helps organisations prevent work-related injury and ill health through a structured safety management system. Expertvuw’s team runs hazard identification and risk assessment, aligns the system with the OSH Code, and prepares you for certification audit.
ISO 45001:2018 sets requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. It requires leadership commitment, consultation and participation of workers, identification of hazards and assessment of risks, legal compliance, operational controls, emergency preparedness, incident investigation and continual improvement. It replaced OHSAS 18001.
In India, the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 came into force on 21 November 2025, setting duties for employers on safety, health, welfare and working conditions. An ISO 45001 system provides a practical way to meet and evidence these duties, including safety committees, health checks and incident reporting.
Certification is granted by an independent certification body after a two-stage audit, with annual surveillance.
