Last updated: 2 October 2026
ISO 9001 is the most widely used quality management standard, often asked for by customers and in tenders. Expertvuw’s team runs the gap analysis, builds a practical QMS and prepares you for audit by an accredited certification body — now including the ISO 9001:2026 revision.
ISO 9001 sets requirements for a quality management system (QMS): understanding customer and stakeholder needs, planning processes, managing risks and opportunities, controlling operations, measuring performance and improving continually. Any organisation, of any size or sector, can use it.
ISO published the revised standard, ISO 9001:2026, in September 2026, replacing ISO 9001:2015. Organisations certified to the 2015 version will need to move to the new version within the transition period set by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF). New implementations should be planned around the 2026 version.
Certification is granted by a certification body after a two-stage audit. For credibility, choose a body accredited by NABCB (India’s accreditation body) or another IAF member, and check the certificate on the IAF CertSearch database.
Basis: ISO 9001:2026 (published September 2026) and ISO 9001:2015; IAF transition guidance; NABCB accreditation criteria. Last updated: 27 September 2026.

Gap analysis, documentation and audit readiness are handled by Expertvuw’s team. Certificates are issued only by independent certification bodies after their own audit; we recommend bodies accredited by NABCB or another IAF member accreditation body.
